EESC is an EU advisory body comprising representatives of employers and employees organisations and other interest groups acting as a bridge between the EU’s decision-making institutions and EU citizens.

After 23 years in the European Parliament I applied to the EIT in 2019 and was appointed to its Governing Board on July 2, 2020.

This is crucial to fulfilling the EIT’s mission which is creating jobs and delivering sustainable economic growth opportunities for Europe.
